Our collaborators needed some ALB pictures, so I got to set up an insect photoshoot last week. I got a good, slightly creepy shot of a beetle and decided to ramp it up in photoshop. I was pretty happy with it as a rough attempt.

Fun with a digital SLR!

So I borrowed a Nikon D80 for a few days last week to take pictures for a class. I spent most of the time taking pictures of dead animals (Yay! Forensics!), but I also got some less disgusting pictures:
